Here is a character illustration of Ivan Stellargate from my series “Highborne Fates.” Ivan is the first ever leader of the Stellargate Clan. As a Highborne, Ivan wields an extraordinary ability manipulating gravitational and magnetic fields at will. With this power, he is a formidable force capable of attracting and repelling objects with immense precision. While his abilities may seem overwhelming, they demand intense focus and a large expenditure of his energy to wield effectively.
Beyond controlling gravity, Ivan can also bend magnetic fields, allowing him to manipulate, shape, and hurl metal objects with ease and also requires far less energy than gravity.
Ivan created most of the Stellargate clan’s techniques. However, “Oblivion Core” is a devastating move where he creates a miniature black hole and throws it at his target. As it travels, the core rapidly shrinks before vanishing within seconds, but in that brief moment, it exerts an unstoppable gravitational pull capable of consuming anything within its range, including human sized targets, almost instantly. However, this technique comes at a steep cost. Each time Ivan uses Oblivion Core, he must simultaneously reinforce his own gravitational field and that of his allies just to prevent them from being pulled in as well.
Because of this, Ivan creates a series of secret scriptures with intricate puzzles for those who seek to learn it, but he will never teach them to anyone. He believes that people who can solve his puzzle are the only ones that would be wise enough to ensure the secrecy and use this devastating technique responsibly after his time. Ivan is quite smart, maybe even the smartest of his generation, and joins Atlan’s rebellion against King Harold after Atlan rescues his cousin, Radha (Queen Radha) from the clutches of the Briarwood Clan.
